True Psychotherapy

I had the sweetest exchange with a psychology colleague today. She quoted my last paper and said:

"I was greatly moved by your statement, "Most people suffer from sadness due to strong emotional investment in the material reality and in so much as Psychology remains in the mental and physical realms, it only serves to perpetuate the illusion. But when suffering can be addressed from a holistic and spiritual perspective, more effective solutions can be attained. People can find peace in themselves. They can learn to cultivate satisfaction, joy and peace in their own bodies and minds. This is true healing and true psychotherapy".

Wow! When I say that I was greatly moved, I mean to say that it brought tears to my eyes and my heart swelled. There are times when you make statements that sound like they are directly from the mouth of God. I do not mean that as flattery as much as I want to express my full and holistic awareness of the magic and wisdom that these statements present..."
